You've seen my holiday resort so many times you probably know it as well as I do but I have taken a few pictures of things that haven't been there before, so here they are.
The beach was the same as always but when we arrived about 8:30 the following morning (Sunday)this met our eyes.
.
She looks like this in the un-shopped version.

Sue immediately named her Thunderchild from the War of the World the musical. On getting home I looked her up and found that she was HMS Echo a Royal Navy survey vessel. I have no idea of what she was surveying but she stayed in the bay for three days and we saw her passing both northward ans south for the rest of the holiday.
We also saw a new species of water bird on the beach this year. That's new to us that is, they are Oyster Catchers I think. They don't show up well in the photo I'm afraid.

I rather likes the effects Mother Nature produced on this picture

This a sort of notch in the arm of the bay called Dinas Head with Fishguard in the distance. W were sitting under a beautiful blue sky and bright sunshine and it was raining over Fishguard. It must have been Thursday, it always rains in Fishguard on Thursdays in our experience.
